The mission of Pizza Baker is to provide the community with artisan wood-fired pizza while offering meaningful employment opportunities to people with disabilities. This is their story.

When Jim and Janet Baker founded their family-owned pizza shop, it was all because of a dream they had to work with their son Jameson, who was born with Aspergers. With jobs ranging from stretching the dough to talking with customers, Jameson is an important part of the crew and beloved by the regulars. Because of that, it became clear that Jameson’s new gig at his family’s restaurant was not only giving him the life skills to thrive, but it was making him smile each and every day. The Baker’s knew their mission couldn’t stop there, so they took the opportunity to expand their employee base by providing employment to others with various disabilities in an effort to give them the same life skills and happiness they wanted for their son.
