Commons Live Music Series – Detroit Rock City KISS Tribute Show

Downtown Midland welcomes Detroit Rock City KISS Tribute Show returns to The Commons Live Music Series on August 9, 2025 from 7-9 p.m.

Performances will be set up on the Pedestrian Plaza Stage in the intersection of McDonald St. & Main St. Bring a chair (or snag one of our outdoor tables), grab a drink & food from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy the music!

Detroit’s HOTTEST KISS Tribute Show, Detroit Rock City, returns to bring the ultimate KISS experience to fans. This high-energy tribute band is made up of passionate KISS fans who deliver a performance that will leave even the most dedicated members of the KISS Army in awe. “It’s like stepping into a time machine to go back to the mid-late 70’s to see KISS as many remember but others never got a chance to see.” This band captures the KISS spirit and atmosphere.

There’s BANG for your buck: Their shows feature: Confetti, Cold Sparks, Flash Pots, Blood spitting, Fire Breathing, Smoking guitars, Smashing guitars, light-up guitars, a WALL of Marshall stacks, GIANT LED lighted KISS sign… Period-accurate costumes, instruments and stage… all the aspects of a 70’s era KISS Concert.
