Commons Live Music Series – JP & The Energy
Downtown Midland welcomes JP & the Energy to The Commons Live Music Series on August 8, 2026 from 7-9 p.m.
Performances will be set up on the Pedestrian Plaza Stage in the intersection of McDonald St. & Main St. Bring a chair (or snag one of our outdoor tables), grab a drink & food from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy the music!
As a premier post-2000s modern pop band from Mid-Michigan, JP & The Energy deliver a fresh and dynamic vibe with virtuosic guitar playing and powerful vocals. With a deep repertoire of high-energy modern pop music, they perform both covers and original tracks. JP & The Energy showcase an extensive selection of today’s most popular pop songs, covering artists like Bruno Mars, Dua Lipa, Fall Out Boy, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, and many more.
