When teenager Marty McFly is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a time-traveling DeLorean, he inadvertently disrupts his parents’ first meeting. With the help of the eccentric Doc Brown, Marty must play matchmaker for his own teenage parents to ensure he still exists in the future—all while trying to get back to 1985.
