The Commons Live Music- Brett Mitchell & the Mitchfits

Every Friday and Saturday night in Downtown Midland starting June 11 to October 30 we will have live music from 7 pm to 9 pm. Music will be on the corner of Main Street and McDonald Street – in front of Tri-Star Trust Bank. Bring a chair (or snag one of our outdoor tables), grab a drink & food from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy the music!

Northern Michigan award winning singer/songwriter Brett Mitchell, with 3 original albums under his belt (and a 4th releasing soon!) and a huge repertoire of covers performed with his own folk rock/pop rock spin,  offers an acoustic evening that will rock your world. Or opt in for an exciting performance by Brett Mitchell & the Mitchfits, with Brett singing lead from the drums or guitar or both at the same time, along with harmonica.  The Mitchfits boast incredible musicians Steve Tschaikowsky on bass guitar and Erik Ryden on electric guitar as well as other talented musicians for select shows.

Brett’s fans (and band) are called Mitchfits!
