Commons Live Music Series – Triple Play
Downtown Midland welcomes Triple Play to The Commons Live Music Series on August 21, 2026 from 7-9 p.m.
Performances will be set up on the Pedestrian Plaza Stage in the intersection of McDonald St. & Main St. Bring a chair (or snag one of our outdoor tables), grab a drink & food from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy the music!
Triple Play is a high energy – on your feet type of band! Playing Classic Rock with a good mix of oldies, 70’s-early 2000’s and a splash of Country they create the scene for a fun and interactive dance and sing-along crowd!!
With three members from Sanford, one from Midland, and one from Freeland, Triple Play is a locally based band. Over the past 26 years they have played local bars and other venues. Triple Play has enjoyed playing for community events like Relay for Life, Tunes by the Tridge, Parkapalooza and Porchfest (in Port Austin). Most recently, Triple Play has been the headliner at Sanford Rising, the annual commemoration of the 2020 Flood. In May of 2023, Triple Play was awarded the Key to the Village of Sanford for donating their time to Sanford Rising for the last 5 years.
