PARKING:

Looking for a place to park once you arrive Downtown? Use the map below to find the most convenient spot for your destination.

Please note that the map does not include the on-street parking available on Main Street, Larkin and other entry roads. Some lots may have restrictions or designated time limits Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Violating these restrictions may result in a ticket. Learn more here: cityofmidlandmi.gov/412/Parking

SUMMER PARKING & THE PEDESTRIAN PLAZA:

From early June through the end of September, Main Street transforms into The Commons Pedestrian Plaza, a lively, vehicle‑free space. Road closures at Ashman, McDonald, and Rodd Streets help to create this lively, open, walkable environment.

To make the plaza easier for everyone to enjoy, drop‑off zones are available on Main Street at the Ashman and Rodd Street barriers. These spots can be used temporarily to drop off visitors with mobility devices or limited mobility.

You’ll also find temporary accessible parking spaces on McDonald Street, from the barricade to Larkin Street. These spaces are reserved for vehicles displaying a State of Michigan–approved disability license plate or parking placard.

Check out the map below to see how this may change where you park.

2026 CONSTRUCTION:

Midland Corridor Forward (US-10 Business Route)

The US-10 Business Route is currently under construction as the City of Midland partners with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) to rebuild and modernize this prominent gateway into Midland. This project is referred to as the Midland Corridor Forward.

This construction activity may temporarily change how you access Downtown Midland. To help you plan you route in, the map below  illustrates traffic flows during the 2026 construction season of Midland Corridor Forward and suggested routes to enter and exit Downtown Midland.
