Commons Live Music Series – The Bleau Otis Band
Downtown Midland welcomes The Bleau Otis Band on September 20, 2025 from 7 – 9 p.m. in Downtown Midland’s Pedestrian Plaza!
Performances will be set up on the Pedestrian Plaza Stage in the intersection of McDonald St. & Main St. Bring a chair (or snag one of our outdoor tables), grab a drink & food from your favorite downtown restaurant, and enjoy the music!
The Bleau Otis Band is a Michigan-based R&B, neo-soul, and funk group known for their dynamic sound that blends classic hits from legends like B.B. King and Bill Withers with their own original compositions. Led by Bleau Otis, the son of legendary bluesman Larry McCray, the band’s music reflects Bleau’s early start in a musical family—beginning with drums at age six and transitioning effortlessly to guitar. Now one of the most talented young guitarists in the scene, Bleau shines as a guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter. He is currently recording his debut album while also playing guitar for Billy Gunther and The Midwest Riders. The Bleau Otis Band delivers a powerful performance, mixing soulful grooves with electrifying energy that’s quickly gaining recognition.
This year’s Commons Live Music Series is brought to you by the Downtown Development Authority and presented by Dow Credit Union. Thank you, also, to our community sponsors Mercantile Bank, Oxygen Lounge, Tri-Star Trust, and Three Rivers Corporation!
